This past school year, the Center assisted nearly 1400 PPS students! Arleta's Days is March 13, 2025. We will need 5-6 volunteers to help families select clothes and sort donations. Go to Sign-ups to volunteer for any amount of time. Thank you!
Questions? Email ArletaSchoolPTA@gmail.com

A HUGE thank you to the community members who stepped up to keep Arleta's PTA alive this year!
We still have a few spots where we could use some help.
We need a leader for our Green Team, and could definitely use additional co-chair assistance for Fundraising, Events, Inclusion, Advocacy, Family Engagement or really anywhere your interests lie.
Don't want to lead, just want to be an occasional volunteer? We'd love to know that too! Email arletaschoolpta@gmail.com to get involved
and
THANK YOU!

Arleta thrives on the collaboration of parents, guardians, students, and staff to make all the great things and events happen at Arleta. This includes you. We'd love to incorporate your voice, suggestions, ideas, participation, and/or leadership to make things happen, both old and new.
Above shows a snapshot of what the PTA stands for, what the PTA hosts/supports, and Committees within it. The flyer also highlights school-facilitated programs unique to Arleta separate from the PTA, as well as PTA partners.
To dissolve the mystery, the PTA is nothing more than a bunch of parent volunteers who want to work together to help enrich the experiences of all our kids and provide opportunities for us to build relationships with one another. By doing this under the umbrella of a non-profit PTA, Arleta is able to tap into assistance, resources, grants, fundraising opportunities, and legal protections that would otherwise be unavailable to us.
Want to learn more? We'd love to talk with you!
The Arleta community has so many great family businesses, and we'd love to show them our support! Check out the list we've compiled so far, and let us know at this link if you'd like us to add one.

Reviews can play an important part when deciding to try a new restaurant or making an online purchase. The same goes for choosing a school for our kids. Parents and caregivers who are researching where to send their child to school pay attention to what others say about their experience.
You can help shine a positive light on Arleta by writing a review on the Great Schools website.
Check out the video below of Principal Hawking getting dunked by a student at Field Day last May! Core memory right there 😄
